Days 2–3: Volunteering at Awani Kizito's Project of Hope
We step into the core of this experience: four days of volunteering in one of Nairobi’s slums with Awani Kizito's Project of Hope.
Here, we will support the community in any way needed: accompanying children to medical visits, purchasing essential materials, organizing fundraising activities, grocery shopping, and even assembling furniture. Each day will be different and shaped by the real needs of the community.
After each intense day, we will return to a safer and more equipped area outside the slum, with running water and all necessary facilities to rest and recharge.
These will be demanding but incredibly enriching days — we will return with stories and emotions impossible to forget.

Day 4: Final Day of Volunteering
The last day dedicated to Awani Kizito's Project of Hope.
This will be the time to complete the activities started in previous days, leave everything in order, and most importantly, say goodbye to the children and the community we have shared this intense experience with.
There will be time to reflect on what we have lived, and, if possible, organize a small celebration before concluding our time in the slum.
At the end of the day, we will return to our accommodation for an evening of sharing and relaxation.

Through creative recycling, it generates positive impact on both the environment and the local community, involving over a thousand people in the collection and production process.
Kazuri Beads Factory — a ceramic workshop created to provide job opportunities for single mothers and women in vulnerable situations. Here, we will observe every stage of bead production, from shaping to decoration, discovering how a small workshop became an internationally successful brand, exporting 60% of its production worldwide.
