Days 2–3: Volunteering at Awani Kizito's Project of Hope
We enter the heart of this experience: four days of volunteering in one of Nairobi’s slums with Awani Kizito's Project of Hope. Here, we will support a variety of activities: accompanying children to medical visits, purchasing essential supplies, organizing fundraising initiatives, grocery shopping, and even assembling furniture. Each day will be different and shaped around the real needs of the community.
After each intense day, we will return to a safer, well-equipped area outside the slum, with running water and all necessary services to rest and recharge. These will be demanding but incredibly enriching days—we will come back with stories and emotions impossible to forget.
Transport included for any scheduled movements.
Overnight stay at View Palace Apartments, Nairobi.
Day 4: Final Day of Volunteering
The last day dedicated to Awani Kizito's Project of Hope. It will be a time to complete ongoing activities, leave everything in order, and most importantly say goodbye to the children and the community with whom we have shared such an intense experience.
There will be space to reflect on what we have lived, and, if possible, organize a small moment of celebration before concluding our time in the slum.
At the end of the day, we will return to our accommodation for an evening of sharing and relaxation.
Transport included for any scheduled movements.

Through creative recycling, it generates positive impact for both the environment and the local community, involving over a thousand people in the collection and production process.
Kazuri Beads Factory – a ceramic workshop created to provide employment opportunities for single mothers and women in vulnerable conditions. Here, we will observe every stage of bead production, from shaping to decoration, discovering how a small workshop has become an internationally successful brand, exporting 60% of its production worldwide.
Transport included for any scheduled movements.
