Finally, we’ll visit the MeetFactory, a former industrial space turned cultural center, where visual arts, music, and theatre come together to explore justice and participation. - Follow the Footsteps of David Černý
Immerse yourself in the visionary world of David Černý, the Czech Republic’s most provocative and iconic contemporary sculptor. TRIP PURPOSE
This journey is born from the desire to combine art and activism to raise awareness and drive concrete action on today’s social and environmental challenges. Through encounters with provocative artists like David Černý and engaging with local activist communities, we aim to inspire each participant to become a changemaker within their own community. The goal is to leave a positive impact—not only through cultural experience but also by fostering a network of creative activism that can generate lasting ideas, projects, and connections. In this way, the trip becomes a platform for personal and collective transformation, where art serves as a tool for reflection and action.

ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival and Getting to Know Each Other
Arrive in Prague by lunchtime and meet Camilla and the group in the afternoon to kick off the adventure.
We’ll start our journey with a visit to Art re Use, an innovative hub born in Žižkov to rethink the life cycle of artistic materials. Here, we’ll meet the team behind the project to hear their vision: turning leftover art supplies from exhibitions and productions into resources for new creative work. It’s a place where sustainability meets creativity and solidarity.
In the evening, we’ll get to know each other better over drinks in the vibrant Žižkov district, once an industrial hub and now probably the area with the highest concentration of nightlife venues per square meter in all of Europe.
Day 2 – A Day with David Černý
The morning will begin with a visit to MeetFactory, the contemporary art center founded by David Černý, where visual arts, music, and theater come together in a space that breaks all conventions.
After lunch, we'll dive into the eccentric and immersive world of the Mausoleum, home to some of the artist's most extreme installations.
We’ll end the day with Camilla, who will guide us through the streets of Prague to discover Černý’s most iconic (and provocative) public artworks.
Day 3 – Art and Activism
We’ll begin the day at Kunsthalle Praha, a museum that merges cutting-edge contemporary art with the grandeur of a historical setting.
In the afternoon, we’ll head to Artivist Lab for a powerful workshop with founders Tamara Moyzes and Shlomi Yaffe, exploring how art and activism can challenge injustice and inspire action.
Day 4 – Reflections and Farewells
After breakfast, we’ll gather for a short reflection session to wrap up the experience and share thoughts, insights, and takeaways.
For those who wish, there will be free time to explore Prague’s treasures at your own pace — from the Astronomical Clock and Old Town Square to the Charles Bridge.
Our trip will end around lunchtime, minds inspired and spirits lifted by the transformative power of art.

Camilla Bruni has always been passionate about art—a relationship she considers lifelong. With her project, @unacamillacontemporanea, she works to make contemporary art, often perceived as elitist and exclusive, more accessible to everyone. Her approach is simple, cheeky, and ironic, aiming to engage people with both lightness and depth. Camilla firmly believes in the social and political role of art, seeing it as a powerful tool for reflection, change, and inclusion. Her main goal is to use social media to bring people closer not only to art but also to cross-cutting themes like politics and sustainability.
